Network Performance Lead

We’re now looking for a bold, creative and data-driven individual to take ownership of one of the most important metrics in our business, utilisation. This role is all about getting drivers to our charge points and making the charging experience effortless, intuitive and rewarding.
What team does this sit within?
This role sits within the Commercial team, working cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Product and Customer Support. You will be the voice of the driver internally, and the driver of growth externally.
What will you be doing?
As Network Performance Lead, you’ll be responsible for maximising the use of Roam’s charging network by attracting new drivers, re-engaging existing users, and continuously improving the customer journey. This includes but is not limited to:
Owning and driving Roam’s utilisation strategy, with full accountability for improving charger usage across the network
Leading with fresh, creative ideas to attract drivers and increase repeat usage
Constantly engaging with drivers and site partners to understand behaviours, barriers and opportunities
Using data, trends and insights to spot underperforming locations and turn them around through targeted action
Running driver outreach campaigns across the Roam app, email, social channels and on-site activations
Working closely with the Marketing team on promotions, campaigns, partnerships and loyalty initiatives
Improving the end-to-end driver journey, from discovery to first charge to repeat usage
Identifying and leading enhancements to the charging experience to make it more intuitive and frictionless
Acting as the key internal champion for driver experience and utilisation performance
Collaborating daily with Commercial, Operations, Product and Finance teams to ensure your ideas are implemented at pace
Reporting on utilisation performance, campaign success and customer trends with clear commercial impact
Spotting new revenue and engagement opportunities through data-led experimentation
Constantly testing, learning and refining what works to drive sustained growth
This is a hands-on role with real ownership, visibility and influence across the business.

Proven experience in a growth, commercial, marketing, product, customer or data-led role
Data-driven, with confidence interpreting trends and turning insight into action
Naturally creative, full of ideas and comfortable testing bold new approaches
A strong communicator who enjoys speaking with both drivers and commercial clients
Comfortable leading initiatives independently and seeing them through end-to-end
Highly organised with strong project management skills
Confident working cross-functionally with multiple teams
Curious, proactive and always looking for ways to improve performance
A genuine passion for EVs, sustainability and smart mobility
